Dua Lipa is an English singer and musician born on 22nd August 1995 at London United Kingdom. Her self-titled debut was released in 2017, after she joined Warner Bros Records. The album climbed up to the third place on the U.K. Chart for Albums. Eight singles were released, among them Be the Only I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules (UK number one). It also peaked at number 6 within the United States. Lipa received the Brit Awards as a British female solo artist as well as British debut act in 2018. Dua Lipa was born by London by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin lilipa (father). Dua Lipa is Bosnian heritage through her maternal grandmother. It is also possible to locate her ancestral ancestors from the Kosovo town of Peja. The two grandparents of Lipa were both historians. She is the sister of Rina Lipa, and has one younger brother, named Gjin. The musical influence of Lipa's came from her father who is the guitarist and singer of Kosovan The rock band Oda.
